Does this sound familiar?

  • Your dog is hunched over, shaking, or won't lift their head
  • They yelp when you pick them up or touch their back
  • Suddenly they won't jump on the couch or climb the stairs
  • Their back legs look wobbly, or their paws are knuckling over
  • Your vet just said "IVDD" and you're trying not to panic
  • They scream, bark, or panic the moment you grab your keys
  • You come home to chewed baseboards, torn crate pads, or accidents

You don't have to figure this out alone at 2am. These guides walk you through it one step at a time.

If your dachshund suddenly can't walk or seems to have lost feeling in their back legs, call your vet or nearest emergency vet right now. Time matters. Come back to these guides once they're being cared for.

Why I made these

Hi, I'm Naomi. This is Oso.

When Oso's back gave out, I went through all of it: the panic, the vet visits, the surgery, and the long weeks of recovery at home. Later, I learned that being left alone could be just as scary for him.

I couldn't find one simple place that told me what to do next, in plain words. So I made it.

I'm not a vet. I'm a dachshund mom who's been there. These guides are the calm, step-by-step plan I wish I'd had.

Questions

How do I get my guide?

Right after checkout, you'll get a link to download your PDF by email.

Can I read it on my phone?

Yes. It's a PDF, so it opens on any phone, tablet, or computer. You can print it too.

Which guide should I get?

If your dog panics when you leave, start with the Anxiety & Separation Survival Guide.
If it just happened or you're waiting on a diagnosis, start with the Back Crisis Guide.
If surgery is booked or done, get the Surgery Survival Guide.
Not sure, or want the whole back journey covered? The bundle has both back guides.

Is this veterinary advice?

No. I'm a dachshund mom, not a vet. These guides help you stay calm, ask the right questions, and care for your dog at home. Always follow your own vet's instructions.
